Courtney Clark

Courtney joined S. R. Labby after many years as a litigator at two of Boston's premier law firms, Goodwin Procter LLP and Sherin and Lodgen LLP, where she assisted clients in a wide variety of practice areas, including business disputes, legal malpractice, and health law, serving as co-chair of Sherin's Health Services Industry Group. Courtney has also worked alongside in-house counsel at Fortune 500 financial services companies, handling customer arbitrations, regulatory inquiries, complex litigation, and advising business units on how best to resolve intricate customer and regulatory issues.

Courtney uses her extraordinary background and expertise to assess complex facets of individual and business clients’ concerns, both legal and nonlegal. In addition to thoroughly analyzing problems from all angles, Courtney works with clients to help them think through what matters most to them, which allows them to balance their goals with risks. Courtney focuses on creative problem solving for her clients, because she believes a litigator best serves her clients by acting as a strategic adviser well before matters end up inside the courtroom.

Courtney is a graduate of Yale Law School and Stanford University. She has also completed the Mediation and Participatory Processes Seminar at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and forty hour Basic Mediation Training through Mediation Works Inc.
